TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • By making payment you accept our terms & conditions.
  • 50% Booking fee to secure rental items, balance due 7 days prior to event.
  • For bookings occurring in the same week as the event, requires 100% payment 48 hours before collection.
  • For same day order placement & collection a rush fee will apply of R250.
  • All prices on catalogue are for hiring on the day of event, unless stipulated different.
  • Kindly note that all rented items are considered final once collected/delivered, and no refunds or credits will be issued for items that go unused.


Collection and Delivery

  • We allow self-collection of decor items; To ensure that your furniture arrives in perfect condition, we unfortunately cannot allow self-collection or self-delivery. Our team takes special care to properly wrap and handle each item to prevent any damage during transit. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to assist with the delivery process to ensure everything arrives safely.
  • Delivery options available at extra costs.
  • Return all weekend orders by Tuesday 13:00, unless arranged otherwise
  • If returns are late, penalties may be applied. 
  • Should the hirer use a third party (courier or similar); once the items have left our premises, full responsibility will be placed on the hirer of the items and we will not be held liable for loss, damage, or late delivery thereof. 


Delivery & Collection Hours 

  • Standard delivery and collection hours are Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00. Deliveries or collections requested outside of these hours, including after-hours, weekends, or on public holidays, will incur an additional surcharge. 
  • It remains the responsibility of the client to ensure access and availability during the agreed delivery times. Failure to do so may result in further charges or delays, for which the company shall not be held liable.

Replacement Fee

  • Hereby the customer accepts that any additional fees that might occur due to any loss or damage, a breakage fee will be charged and the hirer hereby agrees to pay the outstanding balance.
  • Should an item returned, be in such a condition, that we are unable to hire it out again, or is lost or broken,  the hirer will be liable for the full replacement cost.

Storage of Hired Items 

  • All hired items, including but not limited to furniture, décor, and equipment ("the items"), must be stored in a fully enclosed and secure area that offers adequate protection against weather elements. The items may not be stored under carports, open tents, or any other partially covered structures that do not offer full protection from wind, rain, or moisture.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the hirer ("the client") to ensure the safe and appropriate storage of all items for the duration of the hire period. The company shall not be held liable for any damage caused to the items due to exposure to adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, wind, or excessive humidity.
  • Any damages to the items resulting from failure to store them appropriately, as outlined above, shall be for the client's account and will be invoiced accordingly.

Cleaning

  • Kindly ensure that items are returned in same manner received.
  • Cleaning fees deductible from breakage deposit (Photographs to be taken for reference)
  • Cleaning fee as follow:
  • 50c per dirty returned cutlery piece
  • R1 per dirty returned dinner-/side plates
  • R1 per dirty glass
  • Maximum of R350 cleaning fee per order deductible from breakage deposit

Social Media

By accepting décor items provided by AMW Decor Hire free of charge—whether as a gift, part of a collaboration, or as a competition prize—you agree to clearly and prominently acknowledge our brand in all related social media content. This includes tagging our official social media handle in each post or story.

By hiring décor items or services from AMW Decor Hire, the client (the hiree) acknowledges and agrees that any photographs or videos shared with us directly, or in which our products are tagged on social media, may be used by AMW Decor Hire for marketing and promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing on our official social media platforms, website, and other digital or print marketing materials.

Where possible, credit will be given to the photographer or original source. If you do not consent to this usage, please notify us in writing at the time of booking.


Cancellation

  • Should your event be cancelled 60 days prior, 100% refund. 
  • If cancellation occurs with less than 60 days' notice, we reserve the right to issue a credit to your account, as we do not offer refunds. Please note that any refunds, if applicable, may take up to 21 business days to process.
  • However, we do reserve the right to levy a 10% charge of your order to cover administrative expenses.
  • Cancellation of bookings or cancellation of part of the booking must be received in writing on email.
  • We have the right to cancel the rental booking and refund the hirer at any moment in the rental process if the renter portrays abusive behaviour.

Please note that these Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on our official website. It is the responsibility of the client to review the Terms and Conditions prior to confirming a booking or placing an order.
